Lately, as with all my endeavors, I've chosen to fully embrace everything I possess, both the positives and the negatives. Essentially, I've adopted the practice of "FLIP IT" whenever I experience negativity.

What defines this era of gratitude that has become so vital? HOPE! Hope has driven many, including myself, to overcome the obstacles we encounter. Many of us focus on the financial aspects of our lives, as our relationship with money often spirals into a chaotic abyss. Thus, we adopt an attitude of gratitude towards money. However, it shouldn't be solely about money. We must appreciate the people we encounter, our families, our friends, and ourselves. Health is my top priority, and I also acknowledge wealth. In network marketing, many people gravitate towards the "Law of Attraction," and I am learning to express gratitude for everything. Is it easy? NO! We need to unlearn what we were taught by our parents and ancestors. Saying "rebirth" might sound cliché, but the reality is that we are transforming negative thoughts into positive ones. It's about self-reflection, taking responsibility for yourself, and holding yourself accountable for everything, past, present, and future. Recently, I am focusing on the moment. I am focusing on today. I am focusing on the NOW. I have somewhat reconciled with my past, and I am apprehensive about my future. There is much inner work to be done, so I have accepted staying in the present to remain grounded, calm, and free from anxiety.
A friend shared a way to change your perspective when feeling negative. Learning to appreciate what is going well, even if challenging, often benefits us, even if we don't initially believe it. For instance, when we lose a job, we often dwell in negativity, causing more harm rather than focusing on the positives of being laid off. I understand that losing a job can be tough; I've experienced it myself, and it's not pleasant. Anxiety and depression can intensify, and we worry about immediate expenses. Without savings or a backup plan, emotions can overwhelm us. However, we can shift our mindset by thinking, “I am grateful for the time I will have to spend with family” or “I can rest for a while.” Let's face it, when working, we often think about time. If you have a job that requires 24-hour service, appreciating time becomes crucial. Some may agree with me, and some may not, which is fine; I'm not perfect. I'll admit, I'm also a skeptic, so I decided to test the law of attraction.
Gratitude is a heartfelt sense of thankfulness directed at the world or certain people. Someone who experiences gratitude feels thankful for what they possess and does not perpetually desire more.
Lately, I've been dealing with financial worries. I've always had a negative mindset about money. Now, I'm learning to transform the stress and anxiety I feel about finances by applying the "Law of Attraction."

I discovered that 80% of this journey involves self-improvement. It has been incredibly challenging to focus my mind on positive things, but I write in my journal daily, read it, and feel immense gratitude for each day I experience peace. The universe is clearly signaling that I need to calm my mind, body, and spirit. My negative thoughts get so overwhelming that I now wear a rubber band on my wrist and snap it when negativity arises. Does it work? After two years, it seems to be effective because I snap it so hard that I now avoid dwelling on negative thoughts, as I instinctively snap the rubber band. Crazy, right? Is the universe cooperating with me? Thanks to this wonderful rubber band, I believe it is starting to work in my favor.
On a serious note, we are introduced to the religion of our ancestors from a young age, but as we grow older, we often diverge from these traditions. Personally, I have moved away from my mother's traditions of attending Sunday church and Bible study. I've embraced the idea that the universe is full of energy, and I see myself as connected to that energy. My belief is in finding a higher power that resonates with you and helps you maintain positivity. It's important to believe in something that you trust works for you. Ultimately, we hold onto faith and hope, but I've noticed that gratitude is a common theme across all religions I've encountered, just expressed in different ways. I want to emphasize that I don't mind what you believe in, as long as you believe in something. No judgment here. If a pen is your god, then that's perfectly fine. My wish for you is happiness.
You inquire about the intricacies of emotions for those caught in such a state. What if I told you I struggle with depression but choose not to take medication, instead expressing gratitude in every possible way to navigate each day—would you believe me? Likely not! You would probably insist on following the doctor's advice to take medication, which often leaves me feeling worse, groggy, unproductive, and burdened with all the negative connotations associated with the medical term "depression." I've challenged myself to break barriers by experimenting with the "Law of Attraction." Many around me know I experience some depression, and my anxiety can become uncontrollable when triggered by change. Yet, here I am on a positive journey to overcome it without the medication that I might use whenever I feel anxious or depressed. So far, I haven't won the money lottery, but I have gained control over my feelings from deep within.
What's my point? The next time you feel down, and something during your day makes you smile or shifts a negative thought, embrace the intensity of your heartbeat when you're happy. Use that gratitude to turn your day into a positive one.
